In fact, that's one of the reasons I joined New York Life back in 2009. After a successful baseball career and a short career in the oilfield, I wanted the opportunity to work somewhere that made it easy for other people to do what was right, and more importantly, made it easy for me to do right by them.
You can take comfort in the fact that I have been a proud resident of the Houston area for over 35 years, and therefore have a vested interest in seeing my friends and neighbors succeed. In addition to my 9+ years of experience, I hold degrees from both Abilene Christian University and Texas A&M University. I have achieved Executive Council, Presidents Council, & Chairmans Council1 in my time with New York Life and have achieved MDRT membership2 in 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, & 2018. I hold my Series 7, Series 66, Series 6 & Series 63 FINRA licenses and my practice offers fee-based financial planning & investment advisory services3 to my clients through Eagle Strategies, LLC. I believe in continued education throughout my career to help better serve my clients as we grow together and am currently pursuing my Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College of Financial Services.
Of course, my background isn't really the one that matters.
